Community

Welcome to our Community Page

Our Agency mission is nation wide. The Rhode Island Indian Council and it’s representatives seek to improve the lives of American Indians on behalf of the Division of Indian and Native American Programs. The Executive Director of our Agency, Darrell Waldron represents Regions 1 and II on the Native American Employment and Training Council and has served many years on the Advisory Board. We welcome you to watch “Our Stories”, the benefices of the efforts made from our organization and it’s tribal delegates across Indian Country. May we continue to grow in strength and support for our native community members. These are the Voices of American Indians, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawaiians gaining employment and becoming self-sufficient.
